Environics Analytics Seeks a Junior Sales Consultant

Responsibilities:
As Junior Sales Consultant your responsibilities will be to maintain a combination of business sectors, grow existing relationships with key accounts. The main activities will include, but not necessarily be restricted to, the following:
- Using your people skills to develop business with new and existing customers
- Maintaining & supporting relationships with key customers and helping them understand the full functionality and opportunities using Environics Analytics data and software
- Focus on sectors such as Finance, Retail, New Business
- Educating, training and supporting key customers on Environics Analytics data and tools
- Writing reports and interpreting the data relative to client needs
- Summarizing the data in tables and charts for easier interpretation
- Answering client inquiries about the data received
- Preparing PowerPoint presentations for the presentation of research results
- Working with our team to meet the special needs of customers
- Communicating internally the needs of customers
- Working in a team atmosphere to grow the business
- Identifying new product and business opportunities
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Post secondary education in Marketing, business, geography an asset
- Self motivated
- Interested in selling
- Project management skills and the ability to develop a business plan within your accounts is desirable
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous accounts in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment
- Ability to analyze data and tell “a story” in client’s language
- Hands-on experience with PowerPoint, Word is a must. SPSS is an advantage
- Excellent communication, writing and personal skills
- Ability to evaluate accounts and assess potential opportunities
- Excellent presentation and persuasive skills
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Excellent computer (Microsoft Office) and analytical skills
Must be outgoing, creative and a self-starter with the ability and inclination to interact with a variety of stakeholders and build consensus around approaches. Leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently also required.
