Environics Analytics Seeks a Junior Sales Consultant

Responsibilities:

As Junior Sales Consultant your responsibilities will be to maintain a combination of business sectors, grow existing relationships with key accounts. The main activities will include, but not necessarily be restricted to, the following:

  • Using your people skills to develop business with new and existing customers
  • Maintaining & supporting relationships with key customers and helping them understand the full functionality and opportunities using Environics Analytics data and software
  • Focus on sectors such as Finance, Retail, New Business
  • Educating, training and supporting key customers on Environics Analytics data and tools
  • Writing reports and interpreting the data relative to client needs
  • Summarizing the data in tables and charts for easier interpretation
  • Answering client inquiries about the data received
  • Preparing PowerPoint presentations for the presentation of research results
  • Working with our team to meet the special needs of customers
  • Communicating internally the needs of customers
  • Working in a team atmosphere to grow the business
  • Identifying new product and business opportunities
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Post secondary education in Marketing, business, geography an asset
  • Self motivated
  • Interested in selling
  • Project management skills and the ability to develop a business plan within your accounts is desirable
  • Ability to multi-task and manage numerous accounts in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to analyze data and tell “a story” in client’s language
  • Hands-on experience with PowerPoint, Word is a must. SPSS is an advantage
  • Excellent communication, writing and personal skills
  • Ability to evaluate accounts and assess potential opportunities
  • Excellent presentation and persuasive skills
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Excellent computer (Microsoft Office) and analytical skills

Must be outgoing, creative and a self-starter with the ability and inclination to interact with a variety of stakeholders and build consensus around approaches. Leadership capabilities and the ability to work independently also required.
